The quality of the hive is great! Easy to put together. Only problem I have with it is the packaging for shipment. One out of three deliveries has been dropped or squished to where there’s damage that I have to repair for it to be usable. I suggest either using another delivery service or increasing the protection for its contents in the future.

I like these hives and purchased two more. All pieces looks to be accounted for and undamaged, but both packages were damaged, open and with loose frame pieces able to potentially fall out.

From the moment I went to set my new hives out, I had scout bees checking out the frames. I had to block the entrances since I was waiting for my date to pick up my first 3 nucs.
I opted for the screened bottoms and glad I did. I ended up using the solid bottoms on other hive setups.
Had a few other beekeeper friends come help me, and they were also quite impressed with the quality.
Assembly was quite simple and fit well together.
For me, it was easier to turn the shipping boxes upside down and build the boxes before the frames so I had a place to set all the frames as I put those together.
