My wonderful hubby bought me the BeeCastle starter kit with the ten frame deep with top and bottom board and roof for my birthday. The box went together easily with a few taps of my rubber mallet. A cordless driver made quick work installing the screws provided in the kit. The directions were clear and assembling the frames was a piece of cake. I did use my cordless nail gun and 1 inch brads along with some glue in the joints. All in all, it was a very pleasant two hours with no snags. A few weeks later my bees moved in and multiplied. So much so that I purchased another BeeCastle hive with both medium and deep supers and top and bottom boards, I gave the bees the deep super which was filled up with brood and honey in a very short time. If my queen needs more room, it will be another Maybee super for her. My only regret is that I wish I had gotten the 8 frame supers, if only for the fact that these boxes are heavy once filled with brood and honey and two less frames might make a difference. Another way to go might be to keep them in medium supers.

This has been the best fitting box for assembly, nice and tight joints. Once together it is built like a tank. It has a nice thick wax coating and it even looks good! The frames are standard but the foundations also seem like they are just a bit heavier coated in wax than other brands. Well done, thank you.

Great deal for the money. If I had to pick one thing I would change about the whole starter kit is instead instead of having an excess of the same tools throw in a bottle of wood glue it would just be convenient

Pleasantly surprised with the quality and durability of everything! The box came pre-assembled, dipped in wax and is made with good quality cedar wood. The frames were easy to construct and went together nice and tight without any need for alterations. As a new Beek, I suspect I won't use a majority of the tools included, but it will be nice not to have chintzy knockoffs when I do need need them. I will definitely be purchasing more boxes from BeeCastle in the future!
