Excellent box, easy to assemble and structurally sound.

Bee Caste is a top-quality hive. I have several and they still have a new look.

Quality Control needs to be looked into. I bought 2 sets, 1 is perfect. The 2nd set however has huge slivers/chunks coming off the boxes. These photos are as I was taking these pieces out of the box. I put glue on them and rubber bands hopefully it'll work.

The box arrived well packed with all items snugly packed. Everything was in great shape and included all the necessary hardware for assembly. All the parts fit together nice and tight, but not tight enough that it was difficult to put together. I used regular wood glue to further secure each joint. The only downside was that anywhere the wood glue seeped out is where the wax gave up and was wiped away when I wiped down the area to remove any excess glue. All in all it is a good bee box and it will do well housing our much needed little friends.

Just like buying a full hive, the box is well built. The dovetails fit tightly. The screws are rust resistant. I appreciate the dedication to quality and longevity that went into this box. I will purchase more.

Instructions could use a little help. It mentioned gluing the pieces, but then sent a bunch of nails. Some nails are labeled as screws in the instructions, and some of the english on the instructions could use some work. But got it all put together in appox 30 min and looks great!

Easy to assemble

Very easy to build. Instructions are OK even for a novice (me). Super high quality parts and beeswax coated wood.

I purchased 2 of these, and they have been solid so far. Simple and sturdy construction. Wax coating is decent. Price was best I could find as well. I've purchased another brand's 10-frame hive for about $10 more. It's nice too, but I like this one more because it doesn't have any labeling/branding and slightly better wax coating it seems. Will be buying more when I get more bees - good product.

The box size was way off and the bee space was way off. It was a nightmare box, we threw it out.

I bought two hive boxes. One 10 Fran and one eight. The eight Fran was better quality, but the ten Frame here went together easier.The 8 frame from the other was better cut. But this one was better covered with bees wax. For the price it was good! I busted the top on both. My drill was too much. Fits together well and a good price! My New NUC will love it

Well built，I received this item yesterday. I am so happy with the way it was made. The box and frames were made so good that when you put them together, there is no play in them. Tight fit and easy to assemble. I have order boxes and frames from other sellers and their products were not as good as this one. I will buy more in the future. I highly recommened this product.

Good solid item

The brood boxes (2 of them) were made with perfection. The finger grooves fit together extremely well. Predrilled holes with countersink were great.The frames (all 20) also fit together very well with snug fitting.I'll be buying more bee related stuff from BeeCastle.

Looks great on my old hive! Better deal than local “big box stores “. Fit is perfect, after assembling the first comb, the rest were easy to assemble. Very sturdy, very good value! Bees are loving it!

The wax coating smelled wonderful and also helped to keep the pieces together while assembling. No need to paint. Would buy again.

Very simple assembly with pre drilled holes and perfectly cut/fit pieces

The wood itself is coated with a really nice layer of wax to help protect it from the elements. The frames I can’t really tell if they are coated with wax or not but one of the great tips I’ve gotten from more experienced beekeepers is to coat them with way yourself to help give your bees a better start with their comb, so wheather or not it is coated I’m going to coat it again with my own wax. It’s very well made!

I liked it. Bees are happy. Installed a nuc. Didn't need to put extra wax on frames and my bees are using it.

The bee hive box arrived well packed. The assembly was very easy, taking about 20 minutes to completely build. The only advice is pre-drill a starter hole for each nail to prevent splitting of end wood. The photos are of the hive upon arrival and after assembly. I will definitely buy from them again for future hives!

This box was the easiest I’ve assembled yet. Zero warping on box, went together super quickly, frames nice and tight cut and all screws and nails came with the kit. Instead of wood glue (who has time for that?) I use superglue AFTER assembling the frames along all seams. It’s quick and more durable and reliable than wood glue.
