I had bees years ago when the brood boxes and super boxes were just cut at square edges and attached with nails and the sashes had to have a sheet of wax inserted. What a surprise to receive your wonderful boxes and sashes made to fit together so beautifully and all coated in wax. I really enjoyed fitting the brood box and supers together. And no more sheets of wax that sometimes fall out! Your company sell a really well crafted product with attention to detail. The overall quality of this box is great. The dovetail joints fit together perfectly for a quick and easy assembly. No need to paint with the wax coated cedar hive boxes which is very convenient and gives them a great look as well. My only suggestion would be to offer the choice to switch to a screened bottom board.

I was impressed with the construction of the frames and boxes. The parts fit together like a dream. I have built three full hives in about 1-1/2 hours each and replaced the glueing part with 1” pneumatic staples. The dovetails on the boxes fit very nicely and they didn’t have gobs of wax to remove before assembly.

I have ordered and assembled several complete cedar hives and nuc boxes from Beecastle. They are well designed and fit together like a glove. Very impressed! Cedar wood is known for knots that shift during assembly sometimes but over all I am very pleased with my hives. I had an issue with the delivery of 2 hives at one point causing some parts to become damaged. Poor delivery. I contacted Beecastle and they replaced everything with brand new replacements with no hassle or greif to me. I couldn't be more pleased nor more impressed at just how fast they corrected the issue but also extremely impressed with complete replacements. This company really stands by their products! This day and age NO ONE stands behind their products nor promises but Beecastle DID!! I will be shopping with them for years to come. Highly recommend
